I felt a real connection with Lorna and Declan right from our initial meeting. So much so, I’d been looking forward to photographing this one for a while. They’re both world class violinists and strangely enough, I’ve always felt there were connections between photography and music. A lot of the people I photograph turn out to be musicians or architects or artists. I love photographing people who have an enthusiasm for the photography. Lorna & Declan had that in abundance and when a couple say to me “do whatever you like on the day”, I know we are in for a good time.
The rain was on and off and on again but so what? …. it’s all part of the story
