A few weeks ago I was in Ballachulish at one of the best wedding settings I’ve ever seen. Check out the scenery. This wedding was very personal to me since I’ve known both Louise and Simon for years. Top people! Even more surreal was the fact that the best man had been the drummer in a band I was in as a teenager and another of the guests had been in another band I’d had back in the wild days. You can imagine how wild and crazy the nights were in the rural
Louise and Simon had the brilliant idea of taking some environmental portrait shots of the two of them before the ceremony. Why don’t more people do this? It was great. We had tons of stress free time on our hands and had a right old laugh. By the time the ceremony came around the majority of their shots were done and all they had left to do was get married and spend the rest of the day with their guests. It worked really well.
It’s going to be hard to beat this wedding this year. Great venue, great time, great, great people.
