Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow …….

Monday, January 11th, 2010

I’ve been loving the snow this winter. It’s like being a wee boy all over again. Landscapes we pass every day all of a sudden look magical and beautiful. It’s great for sledging, snowmen, snowball fights and photographs. Myself and my son Jack took the sledge to the hill I slid down all those winters ago when I grew up in Biggar. We also wandered the landscapes around Crawford where I used Jack as a measuring stick to test drift depths. This year the snow was exactly Jack-waist high. Here are some of the pictures from our walks (all available as fine art prints).

Some images captured on the way back from Dunoon …

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Mark managed a rare weekend off recently and had a boys weekend away in Glenstriven outside Dunoon.  Quadbiking and a few beers were on the menu.

Here’s a few landscapes caught on the journey back.

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Before the wedding season gets too far underway again, I thought I would spend some time working on some personal images.  I have masses of personal work and just not enough time to work on it all – clients comes first and all that!

Here are some of my favourites that I have worked on this week:

All images are available to purchase as fine art prints (framed or canvases) – for price information, please contact us on 01864 502161 or through our enquiry form – CLICK HERE

Photography at Glencoe

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

Glencoe is a really special landscape. I pass through several times every year and it feels like a different place every time. It is all to do with the weather. It could be snowing in June or the sun could be splitting the rocks in December. I love the unpredictability of it all. In preparing these landscapes I took all of the midges out in photoshop…it took a long time.
