Two Certificates of Merit in the Master Photography Awards 2009!

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Mark was delighted this week to receive two Certificates of Merit from his entries into the MPA Master Photography Awards 2009.  The two images to be recognised were landscape images this time.

This first image was taken on a family holiday to Morocco at the gorgeous white sands of Essaouira – even more impressive is the fact that Mark took this shot while on the back of a camel!

The second image to be awarded was this shot taken on the Isle of Arran, a little closer to home!

Monday, March 30th, 2009

What a blast!  Last night we attended the Scottish Region Master Photographer of the Year 2009 Awards.  Prior to the night, Mark had said that the one category he would love to win would be the Complete Wedding category.  To enter you must submit 10 images from one wedding and the award reflects consistency in technical excellence.

Well, it’s official!  Mark Archibald is the winner of the Complete Wedding Category of the Scottish Region Master Photographer of the Year Awards 2009!  The prize includes a feature on the winning images in the Scottish Wedding Directory, a glass trophy and a certificate to frame and hang in pride of place in the studio.  The certificate is “in recognition of outstanding achievement for originality and technical excellence in the category of Complete Wedding”.
