Award winning photographer, Mark, combines his enthusiasm for photography with his ability to produce natural but contemporary wedding images; he specialises in storytelling photography which reflects true personalities. Mark’s stunning wedding photography is then complimented by the work of Donna, an experienced designer. We will work with you to select the images that make you smile, laugh and cry and Donna then designs a unique layout in one of our beautiful contemporary matted or digital artbook albums. We put the emphasis on providing the highest quality of customer service, album and, of course, photography.

How do you choose a wedding photography service? How do you hand over the responsibility of recording a never-to-be-repeated individual day? To ensure a great set of images that will be loved for generations to come, you need an experienced professional. Mark has a unique storytelling style and is someone that you will feel relaxed with. In our experience, your day will run smoothly if you book someone who can work quickly, unobtrusively, who will be nice (not bossy!) to your guests and can cope with the unexpected. Mark lets people be themselves, enjoy the party with their friends and family and doesn't ask people to do things that will make them feel awkward.

For much of your day, he will remain in the background capturing candid and spontaneous moments plus all the little details which make your day so special. It is very important that in 10 years time you can look at your images and remember what happened on the day without thinking you look uncomfortable. The people who book us don’t want endless pictures of people standing in straight lines looking like they are waiting for the 'firing squad' or for the photographs of the wedding party to take several hours - which suits Mark's fast pace of working.

We really want you to have an album that you will love and can pass down to future generations as the complete story of your special day. From our initial contact with you, we will be listening to you and working with you to provide the best service and an exclusive approach. The Archibald Photography Wedding Service:

A couple of weeks before your wedding, Mark and Donna will meet with you to chat through timings and the organisation of your day.

On the day of your wedding, Mark starts by capturing the wedding preparations of the bride and bridesmaids and then it’s off to the ceremony to capture the nervous groom and the bride’s arrival. Mark continues photographing the ceremony as you become husband and wife. Following any requested relaxed family shots and around 20 minutes alone with you both, Mark continues with low key coverage allowing your day to flow and giving you more time to enjoy with your friends and family. Our coverage continues up until you sit for the wedding meal and coverage of the evening reception can be added as an optional extra.

While you relax on your honeymoon, Mark performs several days of post production work to produce a complete set of beautifully finished images (no raw files straight from camera). We then invite you on your return to our studio for your wedding photography viewing. At this point, we will help you narrow down your favourites to be included in one of our carefully selected luxurious albums. We offer total flexibility in our albums – each can be tailored in terms of album size and number of images. The majority of albums we produce include well over 100 images.

To present our work, we offer the most stunning and elegant range of albums. Each album can be as unique as your wedding day. We work with you to choose a colour scheme and page layout to suit your taste. These albums have a timeless feel, modern yet classic, and are the ultimate presentation of your day. Our cover range includes timbers, premium leather, suede and metals and we offer the option of personalised embossing. The layout of images on the page is totally bespoke to your wedding.
