It is well known that I have a passion for travel, so to combine a visit to the gorgeous region of Languedoc in southern France with some destination wedding photography, was the perfect way to pass five gorgeous summer days.
L’Abbaye-Château de camon is situated atop the beautiful village of Camon, less than 10 minutes away from the medieval town of Mirepoix. It really is a place which seems untouched by frantic modern living. A place of peace and tranquility with beautiful old stone buildings which offer welcome respite from the seemingly always shining sun.
This is the story of one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever photographed…A story in four parts.
Part One. The wedding day. Breakfast. Making the bridal bouquet. The Bride and Groom getting ready. The Groom sees the Bride for the first time.
It was wonderful to have Donna working with me on this wedding and it was a pleasure to be working with our friends Steve, Yvonne and Stuart from Cherry Tree Films. Fantastic people to share a wine or three with!
