Anyone who knows Mark well will know that his main loves (apart from the kids and I!) are photography and travel. So when Traveller Magazine asked to feature Mark’s Hong Kong travel photography, he was ecstatic. The publishers loved his images of Hong Kong Skyscrapers which you can see here and here and his documentary photography project of Hong Kong People get around.
It’s been one of these things that we daren’t mention to anyone in case it didn’t happen but having received the email to say the latest edition of Traveller Magazine is safely at the printers, we can officially celebrate! The Editor contacted us to say “As you’ll see, our designer loved your photos so much that he ended up using a few more than I’d first anticipated. We also used one of your images on our contents page” – the finished article is a four page spread!
Since 1970, Traveller Magazine has reported on the real experience of travelling the world and is the UK’s longest running travel magazine publishing articles by today’s leading explorers, adventurers, photographers and travel photographers.
I believe the Autumn edition of Traveller Magazine hits the shops next week if you’d like to pick up a copy and see Mark’s Hong Kong travel photography properly in print. I am off to chill some bubbles for Mark’s return from today’s Edinburgh wedding!
