Pauline + David | 1920s vintage inspired wedding | Photography at Lochgreen House Hotel Ayrshire

Pauline and David met ten years ago through a travel magazine ‘Wanderlust‘ as they share a passion for travel.  They are truly lovely people and it was like getting together with good mates from the first time we met them.

Pauline discovered the vintage inspired wedding dresses which are designed and made by Lindsay Fleming in Scotland.  Lindsay Fleming have a range of 1920s and 1950s inspired vintage wedding dresses and as they are based within throwing distance from our studio, Pauline and David we able to combine visits to us with dress fittings.  Pauline opted for Lindsay Fleming’s ‘Clara‘ dress design which was inspired by the most iconic twenties style, the ‘flapper girl’.  1920s wedding dress style Clara is made from sandwashed silk crepe with a deep band of pale gold embroidery embellished with crystals around a dropped waist.  Pauline teamed this with a charleston style 20s inspired headdress by Baba C Designs.

Pauline and David are a really cool couple.  David has an addiction to cars and won the Cannonball Run Europe race in a union jack smart car and then came last the following year in a purple beach buggy!

We just loved being part of their wedding day.
