Good travel photography often incorporates an element of luck. There are never two days the same in Glencoe. In fact, the weather blows in and out so fast that you could be sunbathing and then 15 minutes later be inside your tent holding on to the frame to prevent it snapping in the wind and rain. The rainbow in these photographs lasted for about a minute and peaked in visibility for only a handful of seconds. I’ve taken images here in the past with gorgeous blues skies but I think I prefer this drama.
